Hi,

I have put new wheel bearings in a set of disc hubs yet I cannot get rid all the play. It is defiately not the ball joints or another cause.

The outer race for the wheel bearings just drops into the hub though so I suspect that the hubs may have had it. Unless of course there are some slightly oversize bearings that are designed to get over this.

Can anyone confirm my diagnosis?
Does anyone know a remedy other than new hubs?

right if bearing drops in hub easy then yep its nackered so its new hubs or 2nd hand ones from someone like me
