Hi, First time project and first time mini owner ,so iam fairly anxious to get started. I thought id start my project thread now, but wont be actually starting work until iam finished with my exams. :( Anyway i got hold of a 1999 Rover mini cooper I the other day, and off course has rust and a few issues. I hope the pictures will explain everything better than words, so here goes.

Thanks i think! got a loads of time, its along term project sort of thing.

Also i think the photos make it look worse than it actually is. or i like to think the do. :)

Thanks, yep will keep pictures coming once i get started. Any ideas on the missing engine bits? is there meant to be a hose running from the top of the rocker cover? also do you think that pink sludgy stuff on the coolant tank is a sealer?

the pink stuff on the tank looks like a type of glue. so might have had a leak before and been glued....
