Sorry was being pedantic!

They are quickfit connectors for fuel feed and return.

Push them downwards, then still holding them down push the lower centre part in/upwards and pull the whole thing up, it will then release from the metal fuel lines.

Same technique push it down then hold the centre of the connector down as you pull the pipe up

With the fuel lines - take the fuel cap off first to release pressure, then have a similar sized breather hose to loop the system back on itself - saves a lot of fuel all over the garage floor and a fumey work environment.
