

It's fully undersealed and waxyol'd behind & this area will be covered up my the headlight seal & bowl so it isn't visible. But I want to stop and treat it now.
How do I go about doing so?

Bloody hell that's gutting seeing as its just finished. You will have to take it back to bare metal then see if its just surface rust. If so treat it with Krust or another product of your choice. If its pitting slightly then you may have to spot blast it. At least this will keep any paint damage localised. If its bad pitting then maybe you will have to think about replacing that small section. Not the thing you want to hear i know but its possibly something that may have to be done.
Once that's done where you have the seam try and force some rust treatment in there. Then some zinc rich primer followed by sealing the seam like i did on Erm. Then prime and top coat.
