Hey guys.

Remembered a garage that my dad took his midget to several times outside of Reading, Beech Hill Garage (Mg's and Rovers) They said they'd be able to do some work, but as its not their speciality it'd only be on their own personal experience. These guys were so lovely and offered to sort out the wiring for me, but recommended a mini specialist garage a few miles away called Downton. Absolute first class garage here, i went through the problem and despite being busy, the Guy (Russell i think) spent about an hour and a half with me and we narrowed down what the problems could be, ran diagnostics and changed a few things here and there and took it out a few times. Under the bonnet has seriously been messed with by previous owners, the wiring is all over the place and has been badly re-done. And we found that despite having the mot and service not that long ago, no oil! Dipstick was bone dry. (doubting the previous 4 garages even more now) Topped up with oil and put a new breather cap on (the other one was just balancing on top). I wasn't charged any labour/time/diagnostics, only for the oil and cap. Visiting again tomorrow for a new fuel filter, (again despite being busy!)

Very confident with this garage, finally know where i can go with my car! Definitely recommended.
When we've found the problem, I will share!

Thankyou for all your help x
