before i go buying any parts what current through each wire and how many wires from where should there be?

thats what im thinking but how can i test that? or do i just have to buy it and pray that im not just wasting my money :P

I used this to help with mine but to be honest best check the Haines manual as it will state the wiring for your car. Attached File  image.gif   60K   31 downloads

All the coil tests and module testing is in the FAQs Electrical, were few seem to look?, 12v positive wire goes onto the coil + White with a black tracer goes onto the coil- you may have 2 White/blacks the second is a pick up for the rev counter if you have one, thats the total number of wires on the coil
