We were talking about this at the club last week. Apparently you have to have stainless internals in your gun, otherwise it rusts up? And 2k and celly will still be available, theres a few loopholes that allow certain people to still use them. For some reason commercials will still be allowed to be done in 2k, and motorbike sprayers can use celly.

solid colours will be available next year but will be high solid. as will lacquer. the basecoats will be waterbourne. they will need to be dried with venturi's and they can't be tack ragged between coats. the guns innards are stainless steel to deal with the waterborne paint. water borne guns can spray 2k solids and lacquers without a problem. i h\ave heard that waterborne needs a consistant 25 degrees to prevent blooming but as i havnt used it outside of college i dont know for certain. just glad the legislation for small bodyshops got put back a year as where i work isnt set up properly fow h20 paint yet.

Its all about emissions right?

Well.. whats the point in doing this, when America which account for 25-30% of the worlds pollution will carry on burning millions of gallons of oil every single day.

:dontgetit:

You're darn skippy! In America we say "Earth First!, we'll ruin the other planets later!". ;) We're not perfect (far from it), but I'd rather die from global warming than let the Germans tell me how to live! Believe me, I know about the Germans, my mother is German and I wouldn't wish her on anybody.

Guilty as charged. I'm going to sell the Challenger T/A & the '68 Camaro to make a little room. I've got an '82 Mini project on the way from the UK, and I'm going to buy a vintage Mini racer for the track. I'm also looking for a pickup. I guess I've gone to the dark side! :(
