to be honest, Ive got a huge roll of lead solder and Im not about to throw it out and get lead free. I use it all the time in electronics and plumbing and basically anything that needs soldering and never had any problems, i mean, since when is a police officer going to come round to your house, cut open your plumming and test it?
I think, so long as its at your home you can do what you like, its just not allowed in industry because its hazardous to your health.

Some other examples of things that still and will always use lead are ammunitions and diving weights

A massive thread revival, but I used the search function and came up with this

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3caa2e8158

I was considering lead loading where the wings meet the scuttle, it's already seam welded but I want a smooth look.

Is this kit going to be utter rubbish or dangerous?

How hard is lead loading?

I've watched videos on YouTube etc,

Does anyone else see the joke here?

The kit on ebay is fine, i have used lead loading many many times over the years and there is a art to it but its not to hard.
All this talk about lead being illegal it rubbish, its illegal to use on plumbing but not on body repairs.
