Can anyone rejog my memory. when setting the ride height of the car. I seem to remember that the front is 47" from floor to roof seem and the back of car is 46"
I have taken it to body shop and needed it confirming as they need to fix arch on car, and I dont wish to get it wrong for them. If I do need to change height, can I just wind up the springs with a C spanner?

To be honest standard ride height numbers wont do you much good as it will have settled on its rubber springs by now and be a fair bit lower than stock. Also what are you trying to measure to, 47 and 46 inches from the floor doesn't mean anything it you don't know what you're measuring to.

Unless your Mini is fitted with coil overs a C spanner wont be any use in changing the ride height you need a set of Hi Los.

In that case yeah a C spanner should do you for changing the ride height although you still need to know where you're measuring from.

Why do you need to change the height to fit an arch?
