It's true, the more you modify, the harder it will be to sell later on... but that's because you've made it special and you wouldn't want to let it go.
I wouldn't want to keep it original for the sake of resale value (rather than for historical accuracy). Don't live for others and their preference to buy an original and live for yourself, do whatever you want with it.
This is very good advice!
I really don't ever plan on selling, it's my first car so now it has sentimental value, so I aim to keep it as long as possible :)

when i brought it 9 months ago...

and now...

i'm keeping it looking standard other than the gold superlights
