If you want you can even go further, like measuring all chambers in the cylinder head to either 'balance' them or calculate the avarage chamber volume..

i got pistons which ive heard sit a tiny bit down the bore plus they are +60 so maybe it will be ok?

just got an app of itunes called mini head,

Engine cc 1050
piston dish cc 0
Ring land cc 0.70
gasket cc 2.00
piston/deck cc 0.83
Total volume cc 3.53

Chamber volume cc 25
upswept volume cc 28.53

Compression ratio 10.20

is that right?

+60 makes it a 1046
flat top pistons + TDC to deck + piston rings land about 1.5 cc
head gasket compressed volume - 2.8cc (some are 3.4)
chamber volume - 25cc
1046/4 = 261.5
1.5 + 2.8 + 25 = 29.3
(261.5 + 29.3) / 29.3 = 9,92

So theoretical CR is 9.92:1

I think it should be okish, once carbon biulds up it will be more like a 10:1 CR.
