When I bought Stella she had an original radio (I assume) and speakers in, however the radio was disconnected and wants a code to use it again. A friend of mine is giving me one of his old HU's and I was just wondering whether the original speakers were any good, or whether I will need to replace them? I dont want volume particularly, just want some tunes whilst on the road :)

Here's a pic of them:

Will I need to buy an ISO adaptor for the old plug to connect it to the new HU?

Last thing - I would like to be able to charge my phone/ipod/satnav when i'm on the move and the mini doesnt have a lighter, just wondering how hard it is to install one?

Cheers guys

Run a seperate line for your aux plug direct from the battery with an inline fuse.
That way you can still use it when the car is off.
Otherwise run from the ignition so it will only work when running.
Im planning to add one either this weekend or next.
I'll take picks and do a write up.
