Don't do any mods till you can afford to get the engine tuned properly afterwards.

In reality 85 % of the st1 equipped minis I tune need custom needles to get them running anywhere near rich. the problem is there are the needles made to get the engine to fuel properly after these mods. The needles supplied in these kit are nothing more than to get you going. Remember that once you change the needle the carb will need to be adjusted staright away to ensure the engine is not running too rich, thats before you drive it, not after a few weeks till you get round to taking it to a garage the damage will have already been done. (Biggest cause of oil consumption on modified engines!!)

I can take it to a garage or does it have to be a rolling road ??? Because I don't think there is one near by me ???

Right :) I'm in Carmarthen (Wales) don't really want to travel as far as Cardiff because I hate the noise it makes on the dual carriage way but if I have to then I will :)
