Well heres the before and after of my engine bay. It is the same engine and all the components are the same everything has just been refurbished and rebuilt.

I would actually do it for some one else if they wanted.
I removed every single component from the engine bay and got rid of all the rust and painted it piece by piece

Well done, great job! Out of interest, was that engine running beforehand?
One suggestion, you can tidy up some of the various hoses/cables a bit more, eg. you can get HT lead clips that keep them a bit more together, maybe re-route the dizzy vac hose etc. Is the alt painted silver?

Looks the dog's whatsits mate! May I ask where you got the dipstick from as it looks great.

Yes, you were right and I was wrong. I do apologise for that :)

The dipstick was bought from eBay

The alternator is brand new and a high amp one.
I have seen those clips and I may well buy some, where would you suggest I route my vacuum hose ?
