rear lights

does any one know if u can put new mini rear lights in an old mini just so it is slighty differant

the good thing about mini's is nothing is impossable,, what ever you want to do, there will be a way to do it, just look at it and see what you need to do and plan it, then do it

look in the projects section for "bmw Classic" by smacmax, the work this guy is doing it unbelievable

Theres also a guy who's done it in New Zealand, he has a blue zeemax mini. Can't for the life of me remember his name though!

My mates done this on his clubman. the lights are too big to fit behing the original fuel tank. He has fitted an MG midget tank in the floor of the boot, this has ment removing pretty much the whole floor and fabricating a new one in which to fit the tank.

He has fitted just the lenses and is making a fibreglass bulb holder etc so he can keep the mini wiring and fittings, this was mainly as the whole units were very expensive. If you've got the cash it'd probably be easier to use them complete.

Other than that it just requires some creative shaping of the rear end to make them look right.
