The worry comes because the cars are so old now. They were designed with an 8-year service life, most are three times that now. Time ages parts of the car that the designers never considered, for example the small bypass hose fails with age mainly, not down to mileage.
As with most vehicles though, a well-maintained one will perform well and perfectly reliably, a neglected (or more significantly bodged) example will let you down but it is not usually the car's fault in such cases.

i did 450 miles on bad wheels bearings you'll be perfect for 250 but do the usual checks such as oil brake fluid ect

Check the obvious first ! oil,water, tyre press.. and go for it...
