My name is Tareq and I am from Bahrain in the Middle East.
Just a short introduction.
One of my projects is a mini that I bought a few years back. So far i've got a rolling shell.
Next stage is the engine.. Being abit ambitious. Mating a BMW K1200RS head to a A series lower eng.
I think it has been done before. I got the bike engine for free so I might aswell give it a shot.
Other projects include a complete rebuild of a 911SC. Engine is done on that one. Bit special.
Ducati 748 converted into a 853cc race bike. Mk1 MR2 with a 3SGE engine in it.
Anyways. I've been reading the posts on this site and find them very informative. I hope that I will be able to post some interesting stuff about my project..
Here is a pic of my Mini as it stands today. Full weld in cage, Curley carbon front, door, and boot lid.
Lexan windows, rosejointed everything. KAD Mag wheels with some dunlop slicks.
