Hi, I've had a few bad experiences on this forum with buying and selling to other members. I thought we could make a thread that we could post their usernames so people could be aware of these bad traders? Also the forum could have a trader feedback option like eBay? I currently have one guy on the go that was happy to reply to me when he's trying to sell me something but he then sends me the wrong stuff and is ignoring all my messages.

What do you think?

Ollie.

They say It can't be done yet I've seen it done and be successful on other forums?

It's a good idea in theory but has the potenttial to turn things very sour as unfair feedback can be left which then leaves a trader with no one wanting to buy his/her products.
It's also a lot of extra work for admin to do as they may have to investigate every single bad feedback left.
That's just my option though

Andrew.

But don't they have to deal with it when problems occur anyway? If a good system was in place it could potentially save them the hassle as people wouldn't buy from them anyway.

Reason's why we dont have this particular system are explained in the refered thread.
If members are having issues with an individual member or registered trader then file a report, this will alert us and allow one of us to take the appropriate action.
The TMF trader status is a privelage not a right and as in the past if an individual / company are found negligent they will have their trader status removed and individuals will be banned from buying/selling.
However if we dont know we cant help!
