Hi i am having alot of problems with my clutch, no matter what i try i cant get into a gear. how hard will it be to change it my self? not done this kinda thing before and i want to make sure i can do it before i start. its an 1988 red hot mini and i think that it is a verto clutch.

your best bet is to look in a haynes manual, read carefully through the steps and if you can follow it on paper, you should not have too much problems doing it for real. the level of difficulty depends on the level of experience you have.

i would advise checking the slave cylinder and all other options before replacing a clutch- there are many other posts with similar problems which should give you an idea of where to look first...
