if i put my foot down then my mini does not do anything untill about 2300 rpm and then it pullsrealy well to about 6000 rpm, i have a stage one with the standerd filter box and i think that it is drawing in to much air, i am going to stage 3 soon (twin carbs, K&N filters, enlarged ports in cylindar head and ultmate engine steady) so i can find out what the problem is then and see if it remains.

Did you fit the new needle that came with the stage 1? Did you get it tuned on a rolling road after fitting?
