Laser cutting is spot on, most materials can be cut, up to 20 mm thick! If you can draw, export as dxf straight to the laser.
Find a local fabrication company or dedicated laser company and get a price.
A switch panel Will prob cost £10 -£20 with an exellent finish, ready to use.

Hi,

I'm not sure where you are based but there is a place in tewkesbury called emsea I used to cut a custom switch panel. Give them a call and I expect they could post one if you can get them a drawing. If you need a drawing let me know and I'll see if I can find mine.

Also look into if there a local company that can water jet you a panel. They use a water jet with an abrasive in the jet that cuts metal. Leaves a wonderfully smooth edge that usually needs no more work.

Cheers

I will try and get you a picture over the weekend. I don't actually have switches in mine as they have been moved up to the dashboard but I can add them to the drawings if you like.

But yeah I'll get a picture asap for you,

Seb

My switch pannel doesnt actually have switches in it as they are now in the dashboard but still the holes can be cut using as laser cutter.
