I have just converted my 1979 clubby estate to disc brakes and a servo. The brake pedal sits a bit high and the only thing stopping it from rising more is the plastic brake light switch. I dread to think what might happen if i let my foot slip off the brake -- Is this normal? - the manual doesnt help much

Have you the correct pedal box, pedal and return spring etc for your servo configuration? The Somerford Mini web site shows all possible configurations.

Have you the correct pedal box,
Well sort of, you don't need to change the whole pedal box just the brake pedal.......disc brake pedals have the lug that attaches to the master cylinder rod at a different angle.
The pedal, master cylinder and servo came from a scrap car . I cant see how i can lower the pedal as the switch is set at its longest and if i did lower the pedal by some other means -- the brake lights would be on all the time
