Hi Just got mine from Adrian at Nuagane in Bedford they are on Fleabay as Hugspaint 01234 355990
One of the most helpful blokes I have spoken to whilst restoring the Mini and very quick delivery too
They stock everything you need

I've used Nuagane for years and agree they are very helpful in there, but they're also really quite expensive for some reason!! Which is why I now use Paints4U, they're much more reasonably priced and also do free delivery on orders over £60.

The trouble is with the Nu-Again purple so lush, we'll end up with a Cadbury's section at most shows.

I hear what you say mate, I shopped around for a while first and couldn't beat them to be honest and tried Painst4u too (sound like a rhyme now)
I got 5 litres of Cellulose colour additional one litre of colour for the roof and five litres of virgin top gloss thinner for less than £100 delivered next day!!
No one I tried got near that to be honest most wanted well over £100 for the five litres of celly paint .
As always though it will depend what your after I guess?

But after hours on the phone to some very unhelpful folks buying this was easy quick and painless which has to be woprth something.
I have found the price for some stuff varies dramtically so it always pays to shop around. Fort instance I have had to use Bar coat >_< to stop some of the original paint reacting! this has varied from £14-30 a litre plus postage O_O

just cause we have the facilities (extraction, air fed mask etc) and it hardens well, for rubbing back and polishing if required. we dont have a heated booth, just use 2k fast air dry hardener.

the cars were mainly 2k before hand also.

Thank's for that info on 2K Jordie :D But just to clarify, with 2K(acrylic...?) you obviously still have to buy thinners and the hardener, is there anything else anybody would recommend buying with this paint?? :-)

2k thinners 2k hardener

metallics in 2k come in base coat and then a clear laquer.

solid colours are just 2k (dont need laquer), but you can clear laquer if you wanted.

there will be pros and cons for each type of paint.

Nuagane were awesome.
Spoke to Adrian who was extremely helpful with amounts to buy and his knowledge of the paint was excellent :-)
Spoke to paint4u before nuagane and they didn't let me know I was ordering too much paint and wanted to charge over 3 times asmuch. As nuagane def recommend a call lovely bloke to talk to and very very helpful
