I hope someone can give me some advice
The wheel nuts on one of the wheels on my 95 Spi Sprite just spin, the nut does not undo the cap just spins. It looks like one of the previous owners has done some damage to the nut as the profile has been rounded, metric socket me thinks.
How do I get the wheel off ??????
Cheers

I presume you mean the chrome cap is spinning on the nut? You can just rip them off (the chrome caps) which destroys the nut nicely but you'll need new ones anyway by the sound of it. The actual nut under the chrome cap is a wierd size, not quite any standard socket size so it can be a pain to get them off but it's easier than a spinning nut!

Worst case scenario is to take it down to a decent tyre fitters. They will have one of those sets of nut removers that have a reverse thread. I did this on mine. You need to get the shiny cap off the nut first though...

16mm fits rover wheel nuts if the chrome dome is off perfect.
I just use those flash sockets now for the job
