I'm replacing the rear valance and supporting plates, But there seems to be 3 layers of metal, is this one too many or is it OK?
I only ask as this car has had a lot of bodged welding i.e floors over floors etc.

It should be, Boot floor, spreader/strengthner plate then the valance closure's.
