ahaha sometimes i see another mini and am so slow to react, that i just look at them and by the time they have just gone past, I reach for the flasher

or you see someone in a classic mini and you toot at them and there like what the hell? what's that guy's problem?

One flashed me the other day but i was so busy driving i didnt realise until he passed me! I felt so bad... On the other i always lile parking next to the BINIS just so they can get a glimpse (just a small one) of what theyre missing out on. Then i proceed to clean it when i get back home

We do wave just that we don't has we are sworn at! so don't i bother any more;0( unless i know the person.

I do try and wave at other mini's but sometimes I just miss them. I've realised I spend more time looking at the actual road trying to avoid potholes rather than looking around.

Yeah, there are times you wave and the people in the other car either don't seem to notice, or look pretty miserable.

Like someone else said, it's a bit like being in an exclusive club. I love that.

Not had mine long but already have been flashed and waved at a few times by other mini owners, I get the same reaction when out in my 42 year old Mustang from fellow Yank owners.
A mate of mine has got a lovely 1976 Triumph Spitfire, all other spitty owners flash and wave, but this isn't reciprocated by MG owners when he flashes them !, there seems to be an awful lot of animosity between the owners of these 2 marques.

Had to drive a brand new car to Somerset and back from the Midlands today, I've only driven my Mini since passing my test and I was worried that driving a more 'reliable' and 'comfortable' car might make me want one....

No chance! I didn't realise driving could be that boring!!! (a) the drive itself and (b) not being able to flash my lights and wave at all the other Mini drivers! It's one of the things that makes me so happy about having a Mini! People who have never owned a classic just couldn't get it. Got a lot of mates in VW clubs and they love it too when they get it from other Beetle or Camper drivers. Saying that, I quite often get waves from VW drivers that I don't know too, I think that's great as well! :)

I wave and flash too :) ... Although I've been told my driving face isn't too happy, that's just the way my face rests :) lol. I do smile when I see a Mini though! ;)

Quite a few miserable Minis on the road yesterday around Stanford Hall. (Looked like concourse classics). Perhaps Gus being tatty as he is was beneath them...

The Mini drivers around my area never seem to wave/flashed back anymore I waved at a girl in her mini today traveling the other direction, she glanced at me and didn't acknowledge me Although saying that she was probably concentrating on driving But still, I swear I get more waves from Binis now than original minis
