Does anyone know if you can fit a Hayabusa engine under the bonnet of a standard round nose without cutting out the toeboard/bulkhead and losing all of our feet room? Similar to what SukiDawg is going to do with a R1.
Thanks, Bert in USA

Not sure how much bigger the Hayabusa block is than the R1but, I think it would be possible.

I thought you could only do it with the R1 engine as its very compact!
That's only what I've read though so I may be wrong

Even looking closer at the link I posted his "grill"has his exhaust running through it. It might be a tough one.

No you can't, it will need some surgery somewhere to get it all in, even an R1 which is tiny in comparision to a hayabusa is an extremely tight fit

Also, front engine RWD is the worst combination for powertrain layout in a Mini
