Never thought about it really, but I guess I'll have to at some point as my feet are pretty big!

I would think it'd be quite tricky though. The accelerator won't really go any further out (Theres a wheelarch in the way) and the clutch can maybe only go a little inboards (there's a heater there). Either way, I would think you'd need to bend the pedal, or take it off the spindle and reweld it in a different position.

i was thinking of maybe drilling new holes in the metal cover bit.. you know, on the accelarator i'll drill holes more to the left.. well thats if it isnt already like that! will have to see tomorrow i guess. So small.. when i had my work boots on i almost went through the back of the garage trying to brake.. but, just accelarating.

I have size 13 feet, the easiest way to do it is to get some alloy pedal type things. Mount the clutch pedal right over to the left of the pedal, and the brake pedal as far to the right as you can.... This helps a bit...

You could try some karting shoes, there cheaper than racing shoes and do the same job.

yer but you look a right $$$$ when you get to tescos wearing karting shoes!!! how long have you had the car for? i remember having similar trouble when i started in Mini's but it was just a case of perseverance and getting used to it, likewise driving to work with no windscreen wipers and demisters,,, just goes with the territory my friend.

If your of the fashion conscious type then it will be, but for practical purposes and saftey you should always wear thin soled foot wear when driving, builders boots are dangerous and its very easy to hit the loud pedal when you actually want to hit the brake!

yer.. best save the steel toecaps for JCB driving, wouldn't be suprised if there is a statistic somwhere of how many accidents are caused by incorrect driving footwear.

Im in the fire service, had a fatal 2 years ago were a bloke was wearing his wifes slippers to pick her up from bingo (couldn't find his shoes) and hit a lamp post on the way..... maybe karting shoes not such a bad idea....

Fit a LHD clutch pedal to move the pedal pad on it about an inch and a half to the left. It ends up under the heater but it's still easy enough to use.

in response to your question, the front seats are easaly removed, by undoing the bolts on the crossmember (underneath the front of the seats) use an imperial sise, i think it may be 7/16" (guessing though am not used to imperial yet!) and i also have feet to big for pedals, and i did crash my mini into the back of the garage!
