Any one on here offer this service.

I'm comfortable doing it but, to be honest they wouldn't be as good as a professional.

They're 12x5.5 or 12x5 not sure, Needing re-painting in anthracite, New centre caps, and Re-polishing.

It'd probably be easier/cheaper to buy new ones.

I use wicked wheels in Crawley. 4 wheels up to 18" £262. Fully stripped ie tires off then chemically dipped to remove all paint coatings. Checked, minor repairs if needed then powder coated.

I've recently done the same with some superlights with polished rim, I used paint stripper to get the paint and laquer off and then sanded the polished bit to have a brushed aluminium effect. Then I masked that off and sprayed the centres and left the rim unpolished. Only cost about £20 to do all 4.

I think I'm going to enquire with superlight themselves and see how much they'd charge.

Polishing the alloy lip can be done at home, ive done it on my D1's, just takes a long long time and lots of elbow grease

The biggest problem is how deep does the corrosion go. If you want a polished lip then it will need to be machined to remove the damage evenly.

Are these wheels still available, i can't find them, they appear to have changed the design of the lip and centre cap?

I might buy a new set and sell these?

The picture just looks like the laquer has been weathered, it should be fine underneath.

Whats annoying is these are brand new, they we're put on with these tyres 7 years ago and the car was parked in a field and left. They we're never driven on the road. The tyres have flatspots as well lol.

Sorry got to disagree with you there. There will be corrosion as that is bubbling up. Once water gets under the lacquer its going to do damage. And after reading the OP's last post its been sitting for a long time in a field. The supalights we had on Erm when we got him suffered from the same problem. If je's lucky it will only be surface but if its pitting then it will need to be machined.

+1 on sonikk.

I'm refurbing my wheels at the moment and the corrosion certainly is deeper than they look. They looked near-mint on ebay but i'll have spent more than a new set on them, doing them myself!

Right then, anyone know their specs?

Are they 12x5 or 12x5.5
They're on 165/60/R12

and do Superlight/Ultralite still make this shape lip?

Have you looked on the back of the rims. There maybe a size marking there.
