Had free tickets for the classic mini racing at Oulton Park today, but could not go due to bad back, did anybody on here go today? and, what was it like as i have never been to any historic races yet.
I was really looking forward to it.

Yep I went!
Was good, although pretty miserable weather. We went prepared with waterproofs and brollys and it wasn't too bad
Racing was good though, I was worried some of the cars wouldn't race cause of the weather but they all went out. Some of 70's formula 3 stuff went out on slicks in the wet it was awesome.
The historic touring cars were the best, conditions suited the minis well, one of the came from something like 15th on the grid to finish second because all the bigger cars were just sliding around everywhere with no grip to put the power down!

Erm not sure to be honest, never really pay much attention to the names/car numbers and when theres so many cars on track.
