It's not that bad considering the price of a set of wheels for a VAG car. They're like £500 a corner O_O

For a 6.5" wide rim you need a 175 section tyre as a minimum. There are no 175/55 or 175/50 tyres available in a 12" diameter.
Racing tyres would be available, but illegal for the road.
With a 165/60 x 12 the widest approved rim width is 6".

force racing do indeed make lovely wheels, top quality finish, the styling is brilliant, and they are very light. perfect.

i know they are expensive, but im surprised you dont see more of them on show cars, considering the money some people spend on their show cars, whats an extra few hundred quid on the cost of wheels? (says the guy who also cant afford them either)

they make a great change from minilights and the otehr usual suspects too, and as the good lord said "wheels maketh motor" Matthew 18:11

You're not going to get a set of these second hand, he has sold hardly any 12" wheels, any that he has sold have gone to Norway as far as I know.

Just going to have to start saving. well worth the money though.

As above, stick to 6" wide though. Then they'll look great and drive well too.

Once I've recovered from my KAD spending spree I'm getting 12x6 big dish wheels from Force Racing. Mmmmmm, sexy lightness :)

So what tyres can you run on the road with 6.5" wide 12" wheels? 165/60 x 12 are too narrow.

Indeed don't do that, leave it for the VW/Audi folk. I imagine some 165 tyres won't look that bad in the grand scheme of things.
