I'd go for 8" wide rims myself :P

Or 10"

Perhaps I am getting old but I just don't get this at all. It just looks pathetic to me. When I was 17 we trying to squeeze 225s onto standard Capri rims to improve grip, not 135s to make it look 'cool'. Why would you make your car look carp and make it dangerous to boot?

I quite agree, they look both daft and dangerous, and that's before we mention ride-height and camber.

So I'm not the only one who can't actually see what this stretching is meant to achieve. Looks very odd, reduces roadholding, alters suspension geometry and does not comply with C & nU regulations. And the advantages are..............?

It just means you can park with the cool kids in macdonalds car park.. Before doing some pathetic wheelspins and attempting some handbreak turns!

You won't be pulling any girls, but you'll still have the toy from your happy meal ;D

If you hang a fluffy toy from the tow hook at the rear of the car I'm lead to believe you do get the girls with the fluffy dayglo boots to match the outsized rims that you can't afford the tyres for. ;D but we're completely off topic now.

Funny you should mention fluffy toys, I got passed by a Saxo with one on this evening, I guess he didn't like the fact a Micra had cruised past him, so gave me a second look at his poor little toy flapping in the wind.
