After going out for a late nice quite driving im really hurting..... Its one of the nicest driving cars ive ever had it goes into gear so well it purrs so nicely and goes so smoothly but really quite rapidly i mean really smoothly and really is one of the nicest and easiest cars to drive especially for a mini ive ever had the pleasure of driving not to mention it sticks to the road and is actually really comfy...... And looks amazing even when im driving just looking at the side seeing the front camber and the arches... Nearly everything works and well at that.... Its a pocket rocket built for the quite night
Makes me wonder WHY THE HELL AM I SELLING??!!? And im kinda considering i just dont know how to do it as i need a car i just can afford it next year through insurance ..... I tried again tonight its just not happening :,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,(

I cannot find one company to accept the one year classic car certificate as a form of no claims so its essentially insuring a 1.3 pocket rocket as the 1.3 minis are already quite high and on a 18 yearold student with no years claims bonus :(

If you're on about Footman James' "no claims discount" letter, then Aviva will accept it. They accepted two years of Footman James NCD for me and saved me about £700 :P Just be persistent if the person/people on the phone say they don't accept it, ask them to ring their manager/boss whatever, because it definitely worked for me.

Haha yeah they are pretty damn cool, although not much use when driving I shouldn't think... >_<

as for the car, I would keep searching, I have recently discovered that I could actually insure a 1275 lump for less than my 998 with the mods... so just keep searching and try aviva as the otter says :D

If he was/is with Footman James, then they stopped insuring young drivers for a while (from about this time last year for about 6 months or so I think), then when they found another underwriter (as FJ are just a broker) the premiums increased dramatically. My price went from £640 the first year, £840 the second year, then for the third year (after the underwriter, that all of us youngsters were with, collapsed and they had to find a new one), they wanted £1200 from me, for the exact same policy. Not exactly much brand loyalty left these days! Hence why a change is necessary, if Footman James are involved here...
