I find the advert, very annoying indeed, but, I dont hate Bimi's becase it was sadly the only way the Mini name was going to carry on... But, then again, I hate the people who buy them, just for the sake to be like everyone else!

I call it "The Ipod factor"

Everyones got one! Anyone who hasnt got one, Buys one to be "Cool" And then Apple (Like BMW) Makes a hell of a lot of money with it (Esp Apple, when the battery dies, they want you to pay £200+ to replace it, I told them to shove it up their arse) Got my self a Creative Zen Nano and never been happier!

K, I've got a Renault Clio and I've read the manual.....but.....The switch that turns the traction control off ISN'T where it should be!! ANYONE have any ideas how to turn it off>?

it's a 1.2 Dimonique 16v 2005 model. Also how do I turn off ABS?

And if there's any way to stiffen the suspension without having to remove it please let me know!

I'm fed up of driving a boat!! (Clio)

Can't use mini, it's on it's last legs, but IT WILL BE REBUILT!!! ;D

Actually should av posted this in an appropriate place but, whaddayagonnado?? heheh

Cheerz

If the buttons not there then chances are it doesn't have traction control. Abs if fitted to a car is not an optional switch of kind of thing. It either fitted or not. Most cars are set up slightly differently if they run abs.

As for stiffening suspension then cheapest way is change the springs.

I`ve got no buttons for traction control.
I just put my foot down and it goes.!!

Neah, we're talking about portable MP3 players and Renault Clios by the looks of things ;D

Hey, going off topic is fine on bashing threads! :)

I agree with Ade on the traction control on the Cooper S. I 'borrowed' my Mum's S Convertible the other day to demonstrate the noise an Eaton made, and the traction control would not bloody shut up! So I switched it off, its horrible having the car take control, I much preferred feeling the wheels spinning and letting off etc, than driving with my foot to the floor like most modern drivers do, oblivious to what the car's telling them!

Oh yeah, and Bini's are great! Although the steering pumps are noisy ;D

We don't have to have all these threads so lets close this one too. Any objections, pm me!
