Ive stood in the bomb doors of the vulcan at cosford, its positioned so half of it sticks out over the edge of the balcony and the rear end you can walk under.
Awesome plane, would love to see one flying

Reguarly flys over mine, its was based 6 miles down the road (bruntingthorpe) when it was being recomissioned. You could hear when it started up. They had a sneaky test flight over my work place before it was all cleared. They got a major rollocking for it though.

Years ago when i was in the fire brigade, just before night shift waiting to go to work, i was stood on the back doorstep having a ciggy and a cup of tea
there was a allmighty roar and the garden went black i crapped myself only saw tha ass end of it, i was convinced it was concord ha ha ha
want to work and the lads didnt belive me, so we rang teesside airport, they had a great laugh and told me it was a vulcan bomber
