somewhere along the line ive got to start thinking about where the radiator is going to go,
any ideas of what to use,
some have used nissan micra ones but been advised to use an alloy 4 core mini/race one?

before you blast it right up, have some fitting clearance checking time. Lifting the mounts raises the engine

not sure on your tie bar mounts, but may need some re-inforcement
Rear could do with some too, other wise its looking well built there matey

That engine's going to be mounted very high up, is it going in a clubman front?

ive tried the engine in and it sits quite well,
tie bar mounts are braced up underneith, rears are well and truly welded up,should be strong enough!

Ha, fool!
Another thing, have you checked the clearance between the front subby and the exhaust manifold?
Apart from that, subframe looks great!

I made a clutch slave mount simular to that but I found limited room for a radiator, I moved it in the end to above gearbox

i know what you mean, there isnt much room for a radiator so might end up moving it,
ive cut away part of the front section to make room for the down pipe and still have clearance.
