Sorry about that mate. I thought it was just my company that liked blocking every usefull site (except eBay, TMF & MySpace) :D


You can still get around it! You can bypass those 'blocks' easily... Use a proxy server! :-

Use: http://www.cjb.net/ and then type in the address in there address bar. Done :( Try it ;)


Proxys are blocked too for me, and I think there's some sort of content scanner on the blocker which checks the pages as they come in, as well as simple URl blocking, its C**p. I leave my computer on and run WinVNC, lets me login and take control of my PC from home, can be abit slow, but works and is better than nothing, plus I get to use Firefox rather than IE.

And I agree about dodgy web messengers, pretty sure meebo is ok though, they've had a number of good reviews, and I've used them before without any problems.

i allways use eMessenger or somin forgot what its called. because the school allways blocks msn messenger. but not as good.
