Ok so work done lately........

Facet fuel pump mounted on custom bracket on the rear subframe tucked nice and high up out of the way. Need to fabricate a shield to protect it 100%.

All suspension and brakes back on.....just need bleeding.

Original fan back in until weather warms up....was finding the 6 blade fan was making the engine run cold when the weather was cooler...will swap back in the summer.

Brackets for dash made and installed...photo's of dash to follow once finished.

Speedo cable trip meter sensor installed and loom made up....just need to wire in trip meter.

And now for some filthy 'X' rated photo's.......WARNING........these photo's will cause distress (to credit cards!!!!)

A little bit of Maniflow any one???

patience....all will be revealed.

The carbs weren't too expensive really....the carbs only cost me £30 and did the cleaning and rebuild myself. And I got a very good deal direct from Maniflow on the manifold. The manifold is worth every penny when you compare it side by side with a cast alloy one.....i will never buy an alloy one now i've seen the quality of Maniflow. The MED kit was expensive for what it is.....but the filters alone are quite expensive so the kit is actually good value.

Cheers for the kind comment.

As for the headlining.....to be honest it wasn't that easy to make and to do it properly (as a business idea) i would need a deeper throated sewing machine. The problem is that the vinyl has foam stuck to the back to give it the ribbed look and the foam makes it difficult to get it through a standard sewing machine. Also installing the lining is a specialist job and not one that everyone could do to be honest. As its glued in with industrial uphostery glue it isn't very forgiving if you get it slightly twisted.

If someone wanted one, and offered me enough i would make another one, but to be honest there are cheaper headlinings out there.

Ebay....can't find any other like them. But they are Aeroquip if you want to try them. You can get alloy ones if you are using flexi hose.
