yeah Porka does this too - just a spotted section - all you need is something like:

title - Purple Clubman spotted on A38 heading north near J25 (that specifies car and area),

then in the description just say:

Saw you heading north, you overtook me (was in a red Cooper), nice car!!

Thats all you need to put! ;D

no marksmini (rip, not seen him for a while) or brawlyrox, they're the best people to ask or one of the mods or admin.

sorry to say i've tried getting a spotted section. Nobody was interested in it. I'm always up for it if it happens. Problem is there is so any people who arn't on this Forum that drive minis. I've seen four or five minis in Woodley (near Reading) and i believe none of them are members on this forum. Need to print out some flyers me thinks.

Here's an idea, (apart from spending more time learning to spell instead of being on your computer), when you see another Mini, wave, flash or whatever and pull in, say hello, introduce yourself, tell them about the Forum etc. In other words, instead of telling everyone on the Forum that you've seen a purple Mini somewhere on the Auchtermuchty road which will be of no interest whatsoever, unless it's you, get to know people face to face and use your voice to be sociable!
The Forum should be an aid to communication not the communication itself.

It would be best if you didnt just mod it yourself as we would like to make sure the flyer properly represents the forum.

However I/we would be more than happy for you to have a go at doing a design then posting it on here so we can see if its ok. How does that sound?

Have a look at the other flyers to see what a good standard they are.

As for the spotted section I dont see why it couldnt go ahead. I will have a word with the other admin types about setting this up.

Charlie
