Private/Light Goods Vehicles (goods vehicles not over 3,500kg) ( registered before 1st March 2001)
Not over 1549cc 12 months rate £110.00 6 months rate £60.50
Over 1549cc 12 months rate £175.00 6 months rate £96.25

I paid £93.50 for my tax last week so for the 1549 and above it has gone up by £2.75 (that's £5.50 annually)
so it is just the higher engine sizes that have gone up.

I thought you had a Honda lump in yours Jammy......or are you still telling them it's a 998

I have a Honda lump, but its not yet in the mini. The mini I'm driving everyday still has the 998 in.

Well the Budget means that I'll be spending about another £40 on fags a year, and £50 a month on alcohol!, plus the usual bi-monthly hikes in car tax (x2).

Now if I was a tree hugging, vegan, tee-total, Prius driver with no friends........
