Could well be the plan... standard mini steels banded to 10x6's in old english white.. a lot like the Anglia's really!

hiya mate, LOVELY 100e you got there, im currently restoring a 100e prefect of the same year :) defiantelly need to get her lower tho, and if u were to put the organe grill and bumper ends back on it would look really good :)

Whenever I see cars like this from the late 50s I wonder what the makers thought when they saw the first mini. Did they think 'it will never catch on' or was it 'ahhh crrraaaapppp, there goes a million sales'. Sometimes it easy to forget what a game changer the mini was.

Well, Ford did the 105 Anglia at the same time and that was also a fine car compared to what had gone before and the engine was far ahead of the BMC A-Series.
