after crash did you get the vic done? dvla wont issue a new logbook to new keeper if the vic is outstanding.

hpi would be worth doing to find out if they did put it down as a cat c accident.

it will also appear on the next logbook after vic test stating a vic was carries out on x date etc.

jordie

didnt think you needed it if it was a cat C? the damage wasnt even bad, they were gonna repair it until i asked them to respray the whole car. which was the only reason they wrote it off.

Just checked with your reg and it doesn't say anything about a VIC marker on it.
https://www.gov.uk/v...as-a-vic-marker

I checked a cat C repaired car reg and it doesn't mention VIC, checked with a non repaired cat C and does say about needing a VIC so your mini might have already had that sorted like dude above said......

But as you say on your ad that you are unsure if it is a cat C, having a HPI check will be worth it for potential buyers to know for certain

Edit: good luck with the sale anyway. Looks nice

Just checked one of our cars, which is 100% CAT C write off, we bought back the salvage. It hasnt had the VIC done yet, but that check shows nothing about it needing one.

So i wouldnt say thats a reliable check to me
