hi all,

this has probably been asked before but is it possible to fit a mechanical rev counter to a mini engine? it's just that there seems to be loads going cheap on ebay.

i think minispares sell a kit for it, its run off the cam i believe and aint cheap!

I picked up a bargain Rev counter on Ebay for £5, it was a Tim electronic rev counter with mounting pod and ilumanation. They are also really easy to fit, so keep your eye out and just buy a Electronic one which runs off of the coil impulses. I may be wrong, but I think that the Electronic ones are more accurate and the needle doesent wobble asmuch as the mechanical ones.
