I'd say if it was a D reg mate, and its not been converted then it runs unleaded. It was a few years after they all changed to unleaded...sorry but not sure when.
When you say the metro turbo is going no where near a mini.... do you mean you're not gonna gut it and make use of it's engine???

i mean it would be moraly wrong to gut it for the engine. it is really rust free and anyone who tears them apart is a pr*ck (unless is it completely rusted/twisted from a crash), there is alot better ways to get alot more power...... blah blah
save the metros!!!!!!!!!!!! any mk1 or mk2 is rare now.

I don't know much about the 6R4 to be honest, but my bet is it hasn't got much to do with the metro

keep on dreaming. unless your daddy is very loaded you wont be insuring your self on a metro turbo for a good few years.
Also are you calling me a pri*k or the others who have used metro turbos as donors? if so i suggest you take it back as its very rude and you need to learn some manners!

depends, if it was a good condition one and the mini shell is tatty then yes (but its not tatty i actually really like the look of yours). its all opionions. the mini was bought so i can get insurance, the metro turbo is for me to work on and will be driven by my dad, and maybe me in a few years on a limited milage scheme but it will probably be sold by then. i know its not the best way to introduce myself!
Not saying you are actually a pri*k in real life, its just i dont find the idea of scrapping good metro turbos for minis.
I am sorry for saying my opinions, i will be two faced from now on if you like.

We're all different though, and i'm sure you're opinions are quite welcome as long as they're phrased a little more thoughtfully.
