Good mornin'

Has anyone bought one of those wee halogen conversion kits from anywhere really, but im gona get mine from Huddersfield Minispares at the same time i get me wheels, (keeps the moths at bay in the wallet saving on the delivery charge).

I just wanted to know whats the logistics of doing the conversion, cus headlights are sealed beams with one solid connector on the back, so do the kits come with new headlight casings and use the same connector.

AND!!!! reading around i dont really want my light switch melting its way through my dash like a scene off Alien. do i need uprated switch? inline relay?

just fit some wipac halogen units in mine , no problem with switches nor wiring.... you just need to wire in the side lamp bulb holder into the original wiring..... really easy to do & is much better on dark roads...
just make sure you set up you beams after or everyone will flash you as you dazzle them !
