Putting things back together and just wondered what lubricates the roller bearings? Do i just grease them up with a bit of LM grease or does oil get through to them at all? Cheers

never lubed then before.
just use eng oil as they get oil in use. hence the seal higher up to protect the clutch

Yes, the lowest gear in the train chucks up a lot of oil, as it is dipping in the sump oil. And, leakage from the main bearing trickles down. There is no shortage of oil in that area.
It does no harm to put some LM grease in the rollers if you feel better by doing so, because then there will be lubrication during assembly and before you start it up.

dont use LM grease as it is not soluble with the engine oil u would be much better using cam lube as this will dissapate with the engine oil wen running

I'd use a moly based engine building lube, oil is directed at the inner bearing as it drains down.

Technically correct, but a small amount of LM in an engine does no harm, and every Mini owner should have a supply of it anyway.

Torqo engine lube, the pinkish stuff
Others use LM grease or even STP
