Hi all - I thought I'd introduce my Mini. I bought my 1973 MK3 Mini 1000 in 2008 (was Canadian import car originally) and had Heritage Garage (here in the US) rebuild the power unit and make the car roadworthy. Some notable items in the rebuild:
* 1275 block bored to 1330
* GT7 longman head completely rebuilt
* lightweight flywheel and strong clutch
* rod change transmission
* Quaife LSD
* oil cooler

Since I got the car back from Heritage in 2009 I've done the following:
* replaced entire wiring harness with 12 circuit Painless wiring harness
* replaced water temp and oil pressure gauges with AutoMeter gauges
* added oil temp, fuel level, and voltmeter Autometer gauges in place of heater core
* KAD 7.9" rotor 4 piston front brake system (these brakes are AWESOME)
* Fortech coil spring hi-lo adjustable suspension
* KAD Quick Shift
* Corbeau A4 seats
* installed new powdercoated rear subframe
* SRacer rear anti-sway bar
* SRacer competition rear bump stops
* 123 distributor
* 10x6 genuine Minilite wheels with 10" Hoosier HO-TDS tires

I take the car to the local racetracks a few times each year and have gotten the car set up pretty close to the way I want it. A couple of times a year I take the car to a local car show and everyone just loves it.

If you have problems viewing the photo album you're pretty much out of luck. I have had to block a lot of IP addresses due to hacking attempts on my server.

Must be nice not to have the rust issues we have!
Oh, and why can't we have garages as big as that?
Welcome.
