Had my Rolling Road session with Peter Baldwin today. Was absolutely brilliant. Knew his stuff about Webers and managed to get it running a lot smoother with better Mpg and More Bhp. He gets you involved with the whole process so your not left clueless as to what has happened. Highly Recommended!

Mazy's now easily hitting 100 BHP!

Unfortunately although shes mine I've only had her 2months. The first owners chucked money at her then sold it in 2010 and has been SORN ever since. Our first impression when we saw the Weber and programmable ECU was WOAH what is that underneath! looked like a boy racer bodge job and was going to walk away but after reading all the receipts a professional classic car garage performed the conversion last decade. Even today Peter said it was a very good job. She also has a 98 bph upgrade around 2003 from MiniSpeed, Custom Exhaust and custom roll cage after other various large bills. Lots of garages and mini experts shying away from it saying they have no idea how they've done it i was considering getting rid of the Weber. She sounds amazing, absolutely shifts and sits comfortable at motorway speeds. But after today i'm keeping it.

It did well today although was running very rich managed to calm her down to a reasonable mix although the Webers never going to allow brilliant Mpg. We have done a little bit of work to the engine, mostly renewing rusty bits. I'm not staying original with her as she has been customized since new. Had the Ultralites refurbed and I have an unhealthy obsession with Smiffys and JCG bits, kinda going for a retro JCG conversion look style atm (the various registers wont be happy but bothered she deserves it) so will be gleaming for next years shows.

Anyone seen this kinda config before? possibly quite rare i guess, have some pics,

There's quite a few threads as to MPI conversion to Aldon's new system and Specialist Component's ECU gear. Do you know what yours is ?
Also, have you got it through an MOT yet in relation emissions ?

Yes before i bought it i made sure the previous owner had it done. i think it was over and was just lucky but after the rolling road the emissions are right down now
