I'm a student :D of communication and I thought of a new concept for Mini's. The idea is that I create a kind of Zipseats, seats for your Mini which you can zip on and off. Later on you can buy different kind of designs and styles and make your Mini interiour totally your own!

What do you, as a Mini owner, think of that idea?

Please react on this topic or you can always mail me at [email protected]

thanks!!

Greetings Roxy :D

sounds interesting, do you mean covers that you could zipoff, or actual seats?

I new it wouldnt take you long jammy, go back in your cage, this isnt the silly section!!

As for the idea, sounds great as long as they are a good fit.

Ps Welcome to the forum, do you have a mini?

yeah as long as they actually fit i.e. actually taylored to mini seats (not like most aftermarket seat covers!) then it sounds like a good idea!
Would warn you about Jammy but seems I'm too late! He's always around when a new female joins! :D

Wow! what a reaction! Great guys! :D

I don't have a Mini (yet!) but I work at a dealer, and every opportunity to make a report about a Mini is mine.

The idea is that in cooperation with a fashion designer to make seats with a zipper on the sides. When you buy a Mini, you can choose the option of "Zipseats" and they add it to your carseat. Later on, you can buy the covers with the different kind of prints and fabrics, and simply zip it on to your seat. Pimin' your Mini has never been that easy! When you already have a Mini, but not the great Mini-carseats you can buy them at the Mini dealer.

the idea to make TC seats is great! I think I'll add it to my report!

Sorry if my english is not so well, but I'm a Dutch girl. Talking in english is no problem, but the grammatic is sometimes hard. But, based on your reactions, I think you understand me!

How did you buy your Mini? Did you have to win the lottery or something?

Hi Roxy,

Welcome to the TMF. The idea of fitted seat covers would be a great idea. If you're thinking of this seriously, then you would be well advised to check out the different types of seats that Mini drivers have in their cars though.

It would be nice if you had the patterns for a variety of seats, and then could invite punters to select their designs over the web, and you then made the seat covers to order...

I'm going to have to spend over £100 to get my seats re upholstered, as the material has finally torn a bit from wear.

I could be wrong but I think our new Dutch friend is talking about BMWs MINI here mainly.
