Further to the excitement of actually getting genuine 120mph 1275GT clocks I decded to refurbish them as their actual clock faces were really faded and grimey nd reaaly needed tarting up.....HELP for some reason I cant get the needles off of them. I have tried the bent fork trick that is usually employed on the later plastic types but these...white with a metal centre just refuse to budge. ave noticed a pin hole in the centre of the metal centres ( if that makes sense ) does this do anything ?

Well even tried Keith Calver from the Mini Magazine...Even he didn't know so its looks like they are going in the bin and I'll try something else like playing around with an Autoplas dash that I have somewhere with a centre dial set up or I may have to go back to fitting the 110mph 3 clock set up that i started out with...............shame

Keep trying with the fork trick. They do come off, like the needles off smiths gauges do. 1275gt clocks are nice, I have some in mine :)

Now thinking about it Ill have to contact you again when they are ready to go in as I think I may a guide as to the wiring at the back as they seem to have 1 male spade and 1 male bullet and 1 female bullet.......whereas I only have 2 wires..one to the male spade and 1 to the male bullet ..how is the other one.....the female bullet connected to?

I'm sure there's a diagram of the 1275gt clock wiring somewhere? Hmm if you need photos, I might be able to help, but depends if my friend still has his!
